Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love.

Here I raise my Ebenezer;
Here by Thy great help I've come;
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure,
Safely to arrive at home.
(Chorus)

Jesus sought me when a stranger,
Wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed His precious blood.
(Chorus)

O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness like a fetter,
Bind my wandering heart to the.
(Chorus)

Chorus:

Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above.

I entered this video of BYU combined choruses singing a version of Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing because it represents My -Ism through a song. This song represents no matter how hard we try we will not be perfect, we will wander. But there is hope, there is a plan, the Plan of Happiness or Salvation. Through the Savior who took the pain of all our sins so that if we repent we can cleanse our selves and be with our Heavenly Father once more for time and all Eternity.

Constitution of Bonnellyism

I. Core Beliefs

I believe in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

a. What are the essential truths (belief statements) of your -Ism? You should have between 5 and 10 belief statements that outline the goals of your belief system. (i.e., I believe that all humans have the capacity to make the world a better place. Or, I believe that people are essentially evil and must be made good through a well-structured society. You may use Standpoint or Standpedia for this question.)

1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not Adam’s transgression.
3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by the obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth. Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administerr in the ordinances thereof.
6. We believe in the same orginazation that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe the He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and recieve its paradisiacal glory.
11. We claim the privalege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privalege, let them how, where, or what they may.
12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers and magistrate, and in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul-We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is any thing virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
14. Turning the other cheek, when someone insults you just laugh. Don't let your self be insulted, and the harder they try to hurt you be even more kind. If someone steals from you, give them more.
15. Standing up for what you are. It's not fighting someone because you let yourself be insulted, but not being afraid of what you believe in and when someone asks you being able to proudly answer there questions.
16. Keeping my body clean. Not just by taking showers but, of things that could hurt you. Like alcohol, drugs, and anything that could alter my state of mind or injure my body or cause and addiction. I do this through the Word of Wisdom.
17. In having a good heart all of the time. When in the hardest situations staying happy, because when that happens things seem better. Even on the darkest night, the sun will rise again.
18. That some thing worth doing, should be done well. Like life, if your going to live might as well do it the best you can.

b. How do you act differently because of your beliefs?

I don't know, because I have lived my whole life with my beliefs. With out them I would not be me. With my beliefs once i make them I will not break them. If you put me in a circle surrounded be large walls I will try to escape, but if you have me stand a draw a chalk circle around me and have me give my word not to leave. I would be more contained in the chalk circle.

c. What is the purpose of life according your –Ism?

Purpose of life=Our life is test. We are tested on not how rich we are, how many girlfriends we have had, how many fights you've won, how many friends you have, or how strong and smart you are. We are tested on our faith, actions, thoughts, choice between good and evil, and if we not fall into temptation. We are tested on how we handled our free agency. After we finish ur time on Earth we either go to Spirit Prison or Spirit Heaven until the Secind Coming. When this hapens we will all be sent to Telestial, Terestial, or Celestial Kingdoms. There is also the outer darkness which can be described as a hell. We will stay there for all Eternity, and if in Celestial be in the presence of God.

d. How does the rest of the world differ from your core beliefs? Why are you right? (Why do you keep your beliefs in the face of others who do not share them?)

I differ from the world because I don't follow the world. Just because something is accepted by the world, like crude language or pre-marital intercourse, Doesn't mean I will accept it. My beliefs won't change for the world, but they will adapt to new things. Just because the computer has potential to contain things against my beliefs doesn't mean I won't use it. I'm know I'm right becuase I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed about and I have been answered by the Lord.

e. What beliefs do you you share with others? (What common ground do you see between your -Ism and others' -Isms)

My beliefs are very similar to Helamonswarrior100, this is because we both believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In Timism he states his core belief is the belief in God which is very close to mine. I also believe in compassion like Eleanor80, but with true compassion must come justice. I believe that compassion is that you want to do stuff for a person that will help them the most. And if it is a consequence that will teach them, so be it.

f. Which core belief do you think is the central one that all other beliefs revolve around? (You can create a concept map of one of your Core Beliefs using Mindomo, Inspiration, or Gliffy)

The belief that my live most revolves around is the knowledge of the God Head. The God Head is three seperate beings, and they are: our Heavenly Father God, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost or known as the Spirit.

II. Role in Society

III. Solving Problems

a. What are the “societal goods” that you promote, and how does it promote these? (charity, equality, etc.)

Bonnellyism promotes charity, equality, compassion, mercy, justice, and friendship. we promote these by service and example. Service examplifies all of these goods by doing either large projects or just small every day things. But service is only really service if you do it for someone else, not to look good or because you were told.

b. What are the “societal ills” that you try to solve, and how do you solve these? (racism, stress, etc.)

Although true happiness can't be reached unless true darkness is seen, we solve these by thinking before we act. Instead of fighting someone because they are racist, you defy instinct and talk to him/her and try to work it out. And if someone insults you, let them and if you do this with out feeling vengful and try to offer peace and they do it agian and you have not a vengeful heart and offer your peace and they do it yet again. And you fell not a vengeful heart and offer your peace and they refect it then you shall rebel against and let your self defend.

c. How does your –ism deal with the invisible, but persistent pressures of life (Patriarchy, the pressure to be a success, the pressure to be cool)?

We deny all bad pressures by defying them. Even though the more you do it the harder it will get, the better you will feel. When the world tells you to do something you remember what your beliefs are and let them decide what you should do. You don't follow the world for they change more then the wind. You feel the pressures and rid yourselves of them if they are bad.

IV. Debate

a. What are the debates that you are concerned with waging? Why? (Abortion, Equality, Truth, Etc.)

Freedom, equality, abortion, war/peace, justice, what are going to do to the world for our children, and many others are what debates concern me largely. They concern me becuase they will affect my life along with my childrens and people around the world.

b. How would you frame these debates so that only your ideas would be seen as right?

I wouldn't, becasue everyone is entitled to there own opinion. I know I am right, though if someone else has something that I feel is right I will follow that belief also. And if someone wants to follow my beliefs because they think they are right, then they I would be very proud of that person, because then I believe they ould have chosen the right chose.

V. Your Head

a. How does your –Ism influence the way you see everyday sights, events, and objects?

Bonnellyism will change your life even the way look at things. When you see something you automatically recall all information from the past, with Bonnellyism you will have an opinion on everything. You will think about where it came from, how and why God gave it to us. You will think about why it's good and how it can be used for bad. You will remember the inspiration it can give you to better yours or others lives.

b. What is a day in your life like because of your -Ism?

VI. Other Important Aspects

a. What are the other defining aspects of your –Ism that are not discussed in the other sections of this Outline?

I believe these are our only bodies so we should take care of them by staying healthy and fit. Also drug and alcohol free. I believe that without pain there is no gain. And that pain is just weakness leaving the body. You can't feel happiness without pain. I also believe that the constitution shows our freedoms very well. I believe that we have the right to the pursuit of happiness. I believe that fighting is wrong along with war, though sometimes necessary. Such as our revolution, without it we would be under the rule of a king and life would be unimaginablely different. I also believe that when ever we can help someone for good then we should.

Sharing Code

This licencse is to show complete sharing freedom. The creator(s) need no compinsation or recognition, anyone is able to change the work in any way and take it as theirs. This is because no idea is yours, it was based on something you experienced before. Unless you have been been through no experiences on this Earth, no idea is all yours. Since ideas create products, the products should be shared with equal work.
A copyright protects the expression of an idea. Unlike a patent, which protects the idea itself, a copyright protects only the expression. The idea for a new mouse trap can be protected by a patent while the expression of that idea through drawings, pictures and words can be protected by a copyright.

Belief Essay:

My core belief is what is more important to me then life itself. What I believe is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Out of this core belief all of the other beliefs form from. I believe in this Church not because my parents want me too, but because when I think about this, it is the only thing in my life that is constant and safe. Everything fits together, here are the main parts of my core belief.

5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.

6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.

7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.

8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them how, where, or what they may.

Deepest Fear

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

The -Ism Movement

gif animation
What the Bonnellyism is about is Choice. Choose your belief, my movement is not the Bonnellyism movement but the -Ism movement. My goal is for every to search the world for what they believe and make there Ism. As it says in my eleventh core belief I claim the privalage to worship how, where, or what they may and allow all men the same. My hope is that all will look into my belief and see the truth in it, and anyone can do that by reading the Book of Mormon and praying to see if it's true or not. But to do that the person must have a willing heart to listen and learn or they will not recieve an answer. But to truly be a member in Bonnellyism one who would have to be able to make what are called huge sacrifices by the world. These sacrifices are keeping the Word of Wisdom, giving time up for the Church, and learning to put faith in the Lord. The core beliefs of Bonnellyism are stated in the belief essay and at lds.org and mormon.org.

What I will do to spread Bonnellyism:

Create a web site on Ning and explain my belief and create a network around and acquire as many beleivers as possible
Bonnellyism's Social Network
Be an example of what a follower of Bonnellyism should do, but remember I'm not perfect
Create a mental system of how to best transport ideas from person to people.
Find the position of Bonnellyism on new problems and ideas.
Create the Constitution of Bonnellyism so that it will not be changed over time.
